We often think of domestic abuse as something that does not occur in our comfortable neighborhoods, or we falsely assure ourselves by believing such abuse is on the decline. Still, the truth is that incidents of intimate partner violence have increased by over 20% in the past decade.

To learn more about the realities of domestic violence, and about the role we can play in reducing abuse, Adam was joined by the founder of Gems for Gems, Jordan Guildford. Jordan survived abuse herself and has since become a champion of ending the cycle of domestic violence through a series of incredible community-driven initiatives.
