Given that Calgary’s municipal election is just days away, this will be the last of our interviews with people seeking to represent the fine folks of Cowtown.

Today’s guest Mike Jamieson, from the A Better Calgary Party, is running in Calgary’s hotly contested Ward 12, and will face off against five officially nominated candidates, including representatives from most of the major municipal parties.

This part of the city has been a provincial and federal conservative stronghold, so proving that you are indeed the ‘conservative’ candidate may prove crucial. The election will also be a strong indicator as to whether the city’s Southeast is becoming more progressive like some other parts of Calgary or holding true to its blue roots.
