On today’s episode Adam was honored to be joined by the Most Reverend William T. McGrattan, the Bishop of the Diocese of Calgary and the leader of some six hundred thousand Catholics across southern Alberta. His Excellency spoke with Adam on two matters of critical importance.First they explored concerns raised in a letter penned by the Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops on the potential adverse outcomes of Bill C-9 (the so-called Combatting Hate Act) on freedoms of religion and expression.Then Adam asked Bishop McGrattan about a recently issued Pastoral Letter from the Catholic Bishops of Alberta on Bill-18, a new piece of provincial legislation set to implement measures to protect vulnerable members of society contemplating euthanasia.
